Corey Anderson Broke Fastest Century Record - Exactly a Year Ago (01/01/2014)

On 1st Jan, 2014 exactly a year ago, Corey Anderson broke the 17 years fastest century record of Shahid Khan Afridi. He scored fastest century in 36 balls, a ball less than of Afridi’innings. The match was reduced to 21 overs due to rain. Anderson scored unbeaten 131* in just 51 balls with an unbelievable strike rate of 278.72. Corey Anderson hit 14 sixes and 6 four in his record breaking innings. New Zeland scored 283/4 in 21 overs with an incredible run rate of 13.47. West Indies lost the match by a big margin of 159 runs. Corey Anderson was awarded as man of the match for his blistering innings of 131*.
