Misbah-ul-haq has been the star performer for Pakistan in batting. He has scored four half-centuries in 5 matches. He has the best strike-rate among top three run-scorers from Pakistan. Misbah has the best average of 55.4 from Pakistan. Ahmed Shehzad is the second highest run getter from Pakistan. He has scored 159 runs but with astrike-rate below 70. Shehzad has been criticized due to his defensive technique. Afridi, Akmal and Sohaib have not done much with the bat. Pakistan middle and late order has not clicked in the entire tournament. If Pakistan has to go progress in World Cup their middle and late order have to take responsibility with bat.

So far, Pakistan bowlers have done a tremendous job with the ball in 2015 World Cup. Wahab Riaz is the highest wicket taking bowler from Pakistan. He took 11 wickets in 5 matches with a decent average of 23.6. Sohail Khan, Muhammad Irfan and Rahat Ali have done great job with the ball. Pakistan pace attack destroyed deadly batting of South Africa in a Pool B match. They defended the smallest total of 235 of 2015 World Cup. Pakistan star bowler Shahid Afridi has failed with the ball. He was wicket-less in 4 matches. He took only 2 wickets against weak opponents UAE. Over all Pakistan is not concerned with their bowling attack. Their major concern is fragile batting line-up.
